Michael P. Katzalay is a highly accomplished litigation lawyer with a wealth of experience that encompasses a broad range of practice areas including corporate and commercial litigation, insurance litigation, disability claims, personal injury litigation (ICBC Claims), gaming and entertainment litigation and product liability matters. Michael has managed complex, multi-party disputes at all levels of BC courts and has acted for corporations such as Volvo Truck Corp., Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, Hastings Entertainment, Air Canada as well as various prominent individuals in the entertainment industry.

Highly regarded by his peers, Michael holds a "distinguished" Martindale Hubbell peer-reviewed rating for outstanding performance based on legal knowledge, analytical capabilities, judgment, communication and experience.

Upon graduation from the University of British Columbia Law School, Michael was called to the bar in 1983. He practiced for over 20 years as a lawyer in the Vancouver office of a large National Firm until 2014 when he determined he could better serve the needs of his clients in a specialized litigation firm.

When he isn't practicing law, Michael can be found relaxing poolside with his family, transporting his three boys to various sporting activities, fly fishing or volunteering in minor hockey.
